Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Health & Medical Data Confidentiality

At LoveAllergy, we understand that your allergy profiles represent sensitive health details. We handle your allergy triggers, severities, and kitchen comfort rules with the highest standard of confidentiality.

Unlike general social apps, we **never** monetize or sell your allergen data to advertising networks. Your safety settings are used exclusively to calculate compatibility with other users.

2. What we do not collect

We do not ask for doctor’s notes, prescriptions, lab reports, government IDs, or emergency-contact details. We do not verify diagnoses or identity. Allergy details you type into your profile are self-reported preferences for matching — not a medical record we certify.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information you explicitly provide, including:

  • Account Data: Name, location, email, and password. Other members see your first name only.
  • Safety Data: Selected allergen triggers, severity ratings (Mild, Severe, Anaphylactic), and contact boundaries (e.g. Kiss Buffer).
  • Profile media: Photos and a voice intro you choose to upload. Photos are cropped to 3:4 and resized on your device; camera location data is stripped before they reach our servers. Other members can see these when they are logged in.
  • Interactions: Messages and exposure alert logs.

4. Encryption & Protection

All connection streams and user profile datasets are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our edge network uses strict Content Security Policies (CSP) and automated Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) validation blocks to safeguard your session.

5. Contact Information

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to request complete deletion of your account and safety profiles, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@loveallergy.com.
